Breckinridge Park Animal Hospital is not just another veterinary clinic. It is a family-run business, owned by two caring Veterinarians who understand the importance of your family’s pets.
Scott and Erica Erickson met while attending Texas A&M University. They each earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995. In 2003, the doctors opened Breckinridge Park Animal Hospital, with a focus on helping pets and their families and a mission to provide the community with highly trained and compassionate Richardson veterinarians. Both doctors excel in a wide range of veterinary services, including:
- small animal medicine

- anesthesia
- pain management
- disease management
- dermatology
- dentistry
- oncology
The doctors are both members of:
- American Animal Hospital Association
- American Veterinary Medical Association
- Texas Veterinary Medical Association
- Fear Free Certified Veterinarians
Dr. Scott and Dr. Erica attend numerous continuing education seminars each year to ensure they keep abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
When not working, the doctors enjoy travel, as well as sports, outdoor activities and tending to their ranch. The Erickson’s share their ranch with their daughter’s Avery and Drew, in addition to a horse, donkey, several cattle, chickens and three dogs, Remi, Jaxx and Sully.
