Pet Boarding for Plano & Surrounding Areas

When you need to board your pet overnight or longer, you can trust Breckinridge Park Animal Hospital. We treat our guests like we treat our own family pets. That means providing the care they need, without hidden fees for services such as administering prescription medications.

Our pet boarding facilities are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. Only about 10% of animal hospitals nationwide have earned AAHA accreditation, which is widely considered the gold standard in the industry. Click here to learn more about our AAHA accreditation.

Pet Boarding for Plano Cats

Boarding can be stressful for cats, so we take every precaution to ensure they receive the special care they need to feel safe.

Cats are housed separately from their canine counterparts, allowing them a restful, relaxing atmosphere in our “cat condos”. Our feline friends get the option of our “lake view” or “garden view” for visual and mental stimulation. You cat will enjoy sprawling on the ledges, watching the fish or birds and basking in the morning sun.

Feline boarders are fed twice daily, and litter boxes are cleaned twice daily or as needed. We feed our kitty visitors Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice formula and provide them with soft towels and bedding for their comfort. If desired, you may bring your cat’s own special food and treats.  Administering routine medications are also included in feline boarding fees.

Pet Boarding for Plano Dogs

Our dog boarding facilities offer both regular-sized and extra-large runs for your dog’s comfort and we provide multiple cage sizes for smaller dogs. We now offer four luxury suites which provide your dog the largest run available in the clinic. While boarding at Breckinridge Park Animal Hospital, your dog will exercise two to three times each day to maintain good muscle tone and prevent him from becoming lethargic.

Our dog boarding suites are equipped with raised beds (we supply extra cushion for our senior friends) and all cages are supplied with soft towels and plush beds. Twice a day, our canine friends are fed nutritious Purina EN dog food, formulated to be easy on the stomach. Of course, you may bring your dog’s own special food and treats, if desired. Administering routine medications are also included in our canine boarding fees.
